Good news: It is possible to recover my files
Bad news: It would cost $1400-$2400.
Upshot: Bye-bye life's work.
Luckily, I've only been trying to be creative for a few years now.

I accidentally wiped the drive that contained photoshop, all my digital art and photos, the recording sessions of my band's last and next albums, and years of compositions.

On a positive note, however, we also reformatted our computer, which is now fast. Yay!

I'm considering setting up multiple accounts; one for painting, one for photos, one for photoshop, one for literature. Summat like that.
